I'm having problems connecting to wireless networks. When I try to run Network Diagnostics and Repair, I see a message saying "The dependency service or group failed to start", and then "Network Diagnostics cannot run because the Diagnostics Policy Service is not running." When I open Service Control Manager and try to start the service manually, I get the message "Windows could not start the Diagnostic Policy Service service on Local Computer. Error 5: Access denied." When I try to connect to wireless networks, I can connect to the network but cannot access the internet. I am the only user on the computer, and my account is an administator account. Any suggestions as to how I resolve this issue -- shelly ------------------------------------------------------------------------ shelly's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=50911 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=980358 http://forums.techarena.in |
