Recently I installed windows vista ultimate and i have a problem when i open
programs my hdd make a strange noise

Run the drive mfg's diagnostic tool (downloadable from their website) to
test the drive.

Default hard disk strange

Bad noise from a hard drive is often a sign of impending failure.
My recent experience suggests that there is a high failure rate for these
newer, large drives, probably due to the same quality control issues that
led to Vista.
Back up your data immediately if you want to save it.
