Desktop Graphics v 3D gaming performance indexes seem at odds
How is it that my Samsung M40+ laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 can
score 2.0 for graphics, and 3.6 for gaming graphics? Why is there such a large discrepancy? Can anyone explain how the scoring system can produce such different score for seemingly related stats? |

Can anyone explain how the scoring system can produce such different score for seemingly related stats? I am having a similar issue. I have a lenovo y530 with a 9300m GS video card and my "desktop graphics" or "graphics for running aero" is only 3.5, while my gaming graphics score is 4.7! I just don't get it. For background info my CPU scores 4.9, my slow ass laptop hardrive gets a 5.3 and my ram maxes out at 5.9 (gotta love ddr3). So my overall score is 3.5 because of the desktop graphics. It makes me think its some sort of software tweak that I am missing, because how the hell is gaming graphics (4.7) that much higher? -- stubby Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
