I have had this problem ever since purchasing a new computer with
Vista pre-installed. Task Manager's Networking tab does not recognize any data coming in over the internet. The fields "Bytes Received," "Bytes Received per Interval" and "Bytes Received Throughput" do not work. The yellow line that represents the current bandwith utilization stays at zero. There is no problem with outgoing data. I can track how much I have uploaded, and upload speed. Is there a fix or a workaround or a simple program that has the same functionality as Task Manager's Networking tab? Many thanks. |

Well I don't have any problems with the Task Manager here, but there is also
the 'Reliability and Performance Monitor' which gives an even better break down of performance related stuff. -- Paul Smith, Yeovil, UK.
