Hi,

just wanted to say a big THANKYOU to all that take the time to read and
answer the questions that are posted by people like me, who have come to the
end of their tether with problems that are driving us to distraction.
I now have a great Anti Virus installed that runs beautifully with Vista
Home Premium and removed Webroot and replaced it with a more user friendly
Spyware.
My computer has been restored to harmony!! Runs so much faster too.
Thank you, for without all the recommendations and advice I received, I
would no doubt have been sectioned under the mental act, as I was so nearly
on the verge!!

And you have chosen which AV and AS programs? Are you running more than
one AS program and if so are you running more than one in real time?
Did you create restore points before installing each one? You should
always create a restore point before installing any software in the event it
causes problems or conflicts.
It's considerate of you to post back and let everyone know that your
computer is running much better now but in the future you should post back
to your original thread so everyone knows what you are talking about. I
remember your previous thread so I know what you are referring to but many
people will not know.

Actually by posting back with some details of what worked, as C.B.
suggests by using or quoting the original thread or at least the
relevant parts, you encourage suggestions because people like to think
they are giving the right answers. If I see what worked for you I am
happier to suggest it to others etc...

So posting back is helpful to everybody.
