Hello,
After the installation of KB947562 (5-27-08) on my Vista home machine I have intermittent access to my network and the internet. I have attempted many of the “fixes” such as disabling Ipv6, netsh settings, endless rebooting and the repair and resets on the network I am unable to get the network to stay put. It will suddenly just stop working even while I am on the network. I have to reset the network and at times it will take several attempts to get it to connect. I performed a restore prior to the update and everything will be fine, that is until the update is re-installed. I hope MS can “un-fix” whatever they “fixed” in KB947562. If anyone can provide insight or a fix I would be most grateful. Regards, Steve |
