I am running vista home basic, and my internet connection drops. I have to
reboot several time to get it back. I have tried to go in and set my adapter to never shut down, and I have turned off IPv6. These are things that other people have suggested, but they are not working for me. Does anyone have any other suggestions? |

Have you checked if there is a new firmware and drive for the router and
NIC? -- Bob Lin, MS-MVP, MCSE & CNE Networking, Internet, Routing, VPN Troubleshooting on http://www.ChicagoTech.net How to Setup Windows, Network, VPN & Remote Access on http://www.HowToNetworking.com "Zteck" wrote in message ... I am sure the drivers are up to date for the router, as for the firmware the computer is relatively new and came with vista installed on it. The NIC is on board and I will have to see if there is any upgrades for it. |
