Help
I am trying to connect to Vista computers using Remote assistance both are Toshibas both are using Windows One Care I can receive an invitation for help but when I try to make a connection I get the same error message saying the other computer closed Remote assistance. I have tried turning off the One Care firewalls on both computers but it still will not connect. I have even tried using Windows Messenger and it still will not work. Can anyone help? -- Cat |

It may be the Windows Firewall blocking you. To address this go to:
Control Panel- Security Center-Firewall(in the left pane)-Firewall Settings-Exceptions and check the Remote Assistance in the list. To be safe, you can reverse the proces after you are done. -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
