Default Closing com-port

I get an error message after an internet connection via a telephone line
(after closing the connection).
The fax-program (Snappy Fax) says 'Com port in use'.
After a restart of Vista the problem is gone.

Is there perhaps someone with a solution ?
Thanks,
Gus

Try this:

After you DISCONNECT an internet session (important
distinction - CLOSING may NOT do a disconnect), try
starting it again.

If it dials and starts OK (no complaining about the COM port being
open), then your FAX program is at fault - it's incorrectly
reading the state of the COM port, likely due to it being
incompatible with Vista.

May be time for a new FAX program.

Is there perhaps someone with a solution ?
Thanks,
Gus
