Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse Battery = 24 hours?!
I have the new MS Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 which came as part of the MS
Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 desktop set. The mouse battery only lasts less than 24 hours on a full charge. Why is this? My previous mouse, MS Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 (which is actually an older model despite the number) lasted about a month! |

Hi,
What is the rating of the battery in the mouse? You should be able to get a battery of higher capacity which should give you a longer period of use. If the batteries of both mice are the same size, swap them over to see if that improves things (assuming, of course, that the batteries are removeable). Do you switch your mouse off when it is not in use? Dwarf "nLinked" wrote: I have the new MS Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 which came as part of the MS Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 desktop set.
