Default network adaptor disabling

I have a Netgear wireless-n adaptor on my computer with Vista. Everytime I
enter sleep or restart the computer I have to re-install the adaptor. I know
the thing works, I used it for 2 months on my previous computer, which had
xp. Can anyone explain why this is happening.

Have you checked if there are a new driver or firmware for the NIC and
router? Another temp solution is re-confiugre power management. Or this post
may help.
