Hi All,
I have a new laptop with Windows Vista business pre-installed. There used to be a file called rcp.exe in Windows XP Professional which I used to copy over some remote files from my unix system. I do not find this file in Windows Vista Business. Is there a new way to copy over remote files. I have scripts which need to be able to do this remote copying. Any help would be appreciated. Rgds Irfan. |

You might try simply copying the rcp.exe file from an XP box to the Vista
machine. Look in the c:\windows\shell32 folder on the XP box. -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows – Desktop User Experience) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us...
