Default Files erased from jumpdrive

When I use my Vista computer, files are being erased from my jumpdrive as if
they never existed. What's up with that? How do I fix it?

Do you get an error message from Vista about the drive offering to scan it?
Do you allow Vista to scan it?

Does this happen on any other machines running Vista?

Does this happen on any other machines running other operating systems?

Can you please be more descriptive about your actions and how you've
determined the files are being erased?

Make/model of jumpdrive?

What antivirus do you have installed on the Vista machine where this
happens?
