I went to my computer and the E:drive is not on the screen at all. when i put
a cd in the drive or a dvd it doesn't open the disc. the light comes on but can't access the drive in the my computer area nor does any auto exec work when a disc is loaded. who do i fix this? i checked the device manager but it says hte driver for that is updated. |

Have you checked to see whether it appears in your Bios?

I have seen quite a few instances of dead drives in the past few months on virtually new machines. When you have exhausted all other avenues of drivers and BIOS settings, you may like to get it checked out in a shop, especially if still under warranty Frenchy |
