Start/Search, type "narrator" and hit Enter. When the applet appears above
the notification area click Exit to turn it off. You can also uncheck
everything and then exit. Narrator is located at Start/All
Programs/Accessories/Ease of Access/Narrator.

I can't get narrator off startup. I went to programs, accessories, ease of
access, ease of access center, use a computer without a display and no boxes
are checked.
Also, there in no checked boxes in the applet.
