Can not install the software from Fingerprint Reader
I have the Keyboard with the Fingerprint reader attached to it. I recently reinstalled Vista on my desktop (2 days ago) and today I was attempting to install the software for the fingerprint reader. The drivers installed fine (windows doing it by itself) but the thing is useless without the software. The software, Digital Persona Password Manager 1.0 said that it required XP for it to function. Okay, fine even though it worked before when I installed in it in August. So I go download them from MS hardware site, ver 2.0 but when I attempt to install it it states, "Incompatible DigitalPersona products are installed." I searched high and low on the internet, spent hours on google and found absolutely nothing. What I find so weird is that before I reinstalled vista, it worked perfectly fine. Any help would be appreciated. -- shadow1768 |

Can not install the software from Fingerprint Reader
A moderator may lock this thread. The problem has been resolved by reinstalling Vista and installing DigitalPersona Password Manager 2.0 before installing any programs. -- shadow1768 |
