So I have this strange issue that's more of an occasional annoyance than a
crippling problem. Sometimes (not always mind you; one of the quirks of the issue) I will begin playing a song in WMP 11, on Vista and everything is just fine. Then a situation arises where I would need to pause the song. Done. But, when I attempt to resume playback, I receive this error message: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." Clearly this cannot be true, the file was being played just fine but a moment ago. Anyone know something here? Thanks. |
