a while ago there was 28,7gb free(available) in my computer and now is 27,7gb
free. It happens all the time with diferent values. Sometimes 29,1gb free, other times 28,7gb, all the time changes. I dont download anything, anyway it also happens when i get connection to the internet. Is that normal? |

Is that normal?
Yes, perfectly. Vista messes about making system restore points, shadow copies and so on. Nothing at all to worry about. It won't eat all your disk space! STeveT |

Yeah it's normal. Vista is making all these system restore points. And every time you use the web, it'll download stuff into you're web cache which is on you're hard disk, so you have faster loading speeds. On my computer it got as high as 800 MB. Just run disk cleanup every week and you should be fine. Or, you could get CCleaner, it's so much better than disk cleanup and free. and it supports Vista SP1 -- comphulk |
