Default discs wont start

i posted a first queation but i found more. the dics that i put into my drive
will not read. it wont start up at all. i went to device manager and it said
and it said this device cannot start (code 10) how do i get it to work?

Please post some details about your computer like the make and model and
what you were doing just before it quit working. From what little you said,
for all anybody knows you might have a failed drive.
