Very slow Epson printer?
Hi had same troubles. Have installed Epson r220 drivers from windows onto Vista 32bit (sevice pack 1) and just printed a gorgeous photo with no wait! Also just printed test page in Word. A Warning will come up about wrong device but ignore it! works for me. Left r300 in printers just in case, don't know if it makes a difference. HURRAH I might have finally helped others for a change! Let me know if it works for you.
