Hardware Driver Annoyance
Here's my problem... I was given an Adesso 12000 Tablet Pen last year, and had it installed in a Dell running Windows XP, and it worked fine... That computer blew out, and now i have an HP running Vista. I recently got around to installing said Tablet onto the computer, following the same steps as before. - First I installed the driver onto the computer - Next I pluged the hardware into the rear USB port on the laptop Would should have happened after this was that the computer would search for the driver, and install it. This wasn't the case this time... INSTEAD, Vista searched for an already installed driver for a generic tablet, labeled "USB Human Interface Device" The driver wasn't compatible with the hardware, and caused the computer to make the mouse switch between 2 places on the screen... I tried to update the driver, but it would accept another driver as "better"; and i tried every toubleshooter i can find... If there's anyone who can help me, please dont hesitate to help... |
