Hello,
I bought a brand new computer with vista pre installed on it, great memory capabilities etc love it especially the entertainment factors, I am not an expert at computers so when I accidently zipped all my files together and then tried to unzip them back to their original places it didnt happen.... decided to get my code as I received no cd with new pc... rang Microsoft to be informed that my code is invalid ! .. How can this be, its a new computer?.. Went on site but not able to sort it out. Surely the microsoft site should be able to read my computer like when I used xp and it validated my genuine software... What is going on. I am frustrated because I keep reading all this expert gobbledegook on what I should do. I work in Admin typing letters I know nothing about programming and fixes. On a positive note I am geting a real education on other peoples perspectives on Vista.. Shame I did not read all the raving reviews before I went and bought my state of the Art PC. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. It is under warranty by the Manufacturer; contact them as they, NOT
