Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 Buzzing problem with Vista?
Okay i just baught an LX-3000 and i install it to make phone calls for work. Now after the installation i put on the headset to hear an annoying buzzing noise in the background, Now from what iv seen the noise is from the mic. But the MIC doesnt even work for it to echo back an buzzing noise into the headset. When i play sounds or anything all i hear is a buzzing version of the noise. Most other sounds cant even be played i dont hear anything but common windows sounds in a buzzing form.
Im on Vista Ultimate. and just about to install SP1 hopefully it will work ill let you know if it does. But if anyone has had the same problem and has gotten around it let me know. If you know what the problem may be, feel free to let me know then also. Btw the hotfix for the usb problems with headsets/cams/tvtuners and what not doesnt work, you might need to install it with sp1 package for it to work. Thanks again- Orange.
