Default Wrong disc inserted?

I have a ton of games installed on my computer. Many require the CD/DVD in
order to play. They all played no problem. Now I have Vista SP1, and none
will play. Any time I try to play them, I get an error message saying to
insert the CD/DVD into the drive, but I get the same error message for both
drives, no matter which game it is I try to play.

The message is this exactly-
Please remove disc from current CD/DVD drive and insert the original "game"
disc in drive ?:.

Any thoughts?

Copyprotected discs sometimes require you to run the game with elevated
priviledges in Vista. SP1 may have increased the need to do that. I have
to run VPC elevated when using a copyprotected disc in the emulated optical
drive and in discussions about it in the VPC ng I learned that it is a Vista
permissions issue having to do with the copyprotection techniques used over
the past few years.

Try right clicking on the disc icon or game program icon and choosing Run As
Administrator to start the game. Even if you would rather not run software
that way at least give a few of your games a try to see if that is the
problem.
