Default What Absolute Junk Vista Ultimate 64 bit OS is

This is my second time around testing Vista ultimate 64 bit and after much
testing I cannot believe what a heap of absolute rubbish this OS is. How
many years did it take Microsoft to develop this junk?

I have the latest drivers/software/ quad core intel 6700 CPU with a modern
motherboard and running 8GB of RAM. Yeah....I anticipate that you are all
screaming and tearing your hair out and gnashing your teeth because I have
told the truth about this piece of OS junk.

Vista Ultimate will not remain stable if you load and use a substantial
amount of software on your computer. Yet both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of
XP Pro are relatively stable.

I am a business man and I can tell you that vista is unreliable and a total
waste of money. In fact microsoft should pay anyone to use this piece of
rubbish and the amount of time wasted attempting to trace down problems.

Vista is much slower than XP Pro and XP Pro 64 to boot up and shut down.

I don't care how much you microsoft certificate guys hiss and boo....Vista
Ultimate 64 bit cannot compare in efficiency and stability to XP when you
load the OS with numerous heavy duty applications, eg Photoshop CS3 etc.

Even the CPU company Intel will not run vista on their computers (google
it!!)

Vista would have to be conidered along with Windows ME as the worse OSes.

Cheers

Ron

You must not be running much software on your pc with your listed 160GB
Seagate hard drive. I have a total of 4TB internally!! My vista ultimate
partition alone is 200GB.

Are you running a business on your PC?

If you are running programs/software that is not
64-bit, then you need to use the 32-bit version of Vista.

You assume too much.

My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-EX38-DS4
8GB RAM
Same video card as yours
Zalman 850W PSU with pipe coolers
Noctua NH-U12P Cooler
Intel Quad 6700 CPU
4TB internal hard drive space
26" NEC 2690 Spectraview monitor
1 canon pixma 8500 printer
1 epson 3800 wide format professional printer
etc etc etc.

OK expert tell me where my machine is not up to task?

hmmmm......

get a new PSU..... according to the specs it has 18A on the 12v rails
..min for an 88GT is 28A ...

have you run the power calculator for all your peripherals...?
could be a lac of power causing instability.. (could be wrong)

apart from that its a nice rig....

not looking for a flame war mate but many use the OS with no
problems...

You're running a business on a gaming PC? Sure, it's easy to do. But, damn.
It's easy to lose everything if you update drivers and tweak your system for
better performance.

They didn't even run Windows XP on their machines until 3 or 4 years after
it came out. Nothing new.
