HP Laserjet 3500 never collating on Word 07, Windows Vista

Every time I try to collate my documents, it never works.

I've tried selecting Collate in both the printing dialog box, as well
as printer settings (advanced tab). I've tried selecting collate in the
dialog, but deselecting it in the settings, and vice versa. It simply
will not collate!

The problem is the same with my HP Pav laptop.

HP 3500 Laserjet with the latest drivers connected to the network
MS Word 2007
Vista on a Dell Precision T7400.

Please help.

Maybe we should amend this newsgroup title to include collate.

I'm sorry I don't think i fully understood what you said. I've only
just started using forums. You probably mean include "collate" in the
title. I don't even know how to do that. I can't seem to access my
posts through my account page.
