Default auto login to network drive

hi all,

i have a freecom network drive pro (1tb) and have got the drive all
working. however when ever i log into it, i need to put in a username
and password that i setup on the drive. i just need to do it once each
login by accessing the two maped drives. however, vista wont save the
password and wont auto login at startup.
a balloon pops up sayin gnot been able to log in. i have connected it
via lan cable. both laptops are failing to login at bootup (both vista)
but one pc logs in automatcialy (xp). any clues how to get it to save or
setup to do it?
