sleep disabled in vista
HI,
Although SLEEP was working ok when I purchased my new machine (with vista) since installing a few programmes and a wireless mouse something has caused the sleep function to become unavailable? i've tried entering "powercfg -h on" from the command prompt but this brings up a erroe message saying that 'there are items preventing hibernation on this system....1 or more legacy drivers....i8042prt' this driver seems to be the problem??? Some of the programs i've installed are ulead videostudio, nero 7, procoder express, serif pageplus and also a Labtec optical mouse (which I think may be the problem although they say the i8042prt is a native windows driver??) Any suggestions. |
