Hi,
I am trying to access my vista network drive from a XP machine and it says after I have entered my username and password in the box that it is not accessable and I do not have permission, can I set it up to go straight into the vista network drive like I use to do with XP on the network? |

I had the same problem until one of our resident geniuses posted the solution. It's a registry fix. Go to: hkeylocalmachine/system/currentcontrolset/services/lanmanserver/parameters/ Find Irpstacksize and set it to at least 15. It solved my problem immediately. There is a Microsoft Knowledge Base article on it, but have forgotten where I put the link. If you need it, I'll try to find it.
