I have a Vista Home Premium desktop and a about 2 weeks ago Internet
Explorer decided it will no longer resolve DNS names. I can run other internet applications, ping URLs, and browse the web using Firefox so I know the computer is reaching the internet, but IE will not display pages. I have reset Winsock, uninstalled several updates, flushed the DNS cache, reset IE settings to defaults, etc. nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?
