I'm not sure what happend (what I did wrong), but for some reason when I
downloaded a file of images from my camera, they were saved to my computer as CR2 files instead of RAW images, like all my other photos. I have since downloaded more images and had no problem with them being saved as RAW. Does anyone know what I did wrong and how I can convert them back?? PLEASE HELP! |

Oh, ok.. thank you. I am using Canon EOS photo editor on a Windows Live
system. I have trouble viewing the images (in thumbnails) after I've saved them. The thumbnail looks like a text document icon, so I have to go in and open each file individually until I find the image I'm looking for. did you install the RAW update inside Windows Live Photo Gallery so
that you can view RAW - CR2 Canon images? if yes, perhaps you can use Windows Live to view thumbnails? does this work? if yes, you should be able to Open/Edit with your Canon software. Or change the default for CR2 files back to the Canon software. On Fri, 11 Jul 2008 00:16:01 -0700, uskiwi_1 wrote: Oh, ok.. thank you. I am using Canon EOS photo editor on a Windows Live system.
