Default automatic wireless network configuration xp

Anyone know how to re-enable the automatic wireless network configuration on
Windows XP. Since installing the latest Windows security updates this
morning, and restarting, my computer now cannot see any wireless networks and
all details of the BT Home Hub I was connecting to before re-start have
disappeared!

Another computer we have (laptop) still connects fine so this is not an
issue with the BT Home Hub (I have not installed the Windows updates on this
laptop yet!)

I am having similar issues. I recently moved and I have one computer that
recognises the hub, I am still using the same hub as before and my other
computers can connect just fine, however this one computer will not connect
and when I diagnose it says it is an unknown issue.
I would have thought that it should just switch on and work since it is the
same hub but I am at a loss as to what to do now.

Any kind of assistance would be great
thanks
