Here's the scenario: I have a Vista Business box, a member of the
domain. I'm a domain admin on the box, and when I run an elevated command prompt and type: msg 1 /SERVER:XXXXX test I get "Error 5 getting session name" each time. I've tried several variations but haven't been able to get msg.exe to work in the same way net send would. Do I need to have a 2008 DC in the mix to get msg.exe to work? If not, what could be the issue? |
