4GB Ram Installed / Total Physical Ram = 2.75GB?

4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD P5P, 30/05/2008
SMBIOS Version 2.4
Windows Directory C:\Windows
System Directory C:\Windows\system32
Boot Device \Device\HarddiskVolume2

Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.0.6001.18000"

Time Zone GMT Daylight Time *
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 2.75 GB *
Available Physical Memory 1.62 GB
Total Virtual Memory 5.71 GB
Available Virtual Memory 4.40 GB
Page File Space 3.04 GB
Page File C:\pagefile.sys
System (my computer properties) is showing 4GB ram. But if I open up

System Information, I get the above.
Why is not display 4GB as total? I could understand if it was 3.5gb
because I have a 512mb 9800gtx in there, but where's the rest going?
Memory remapping in bios isn't an option cause it's not there in the
bios.
The bios is detecting the full 4gb
And before you ask, I'm running Vista Ultimate x64.
I've tried updating the bios, but the updater isn't working at the
moment, I'm waiting for a reply from XFX in regards to that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You might also ask in microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general since this gets
discussed there often enough.

4GB Ram Installed / Total Physical Ram = 2.75GB?

Okay, I realised that it's going to shared system memory, as shown by
this:

New question: How do I reduce shared memory? I've googled for it but I
can't find anything useful.

That may be a BIOS setting. Check.
