Default spooler subsystem app

Hi,
I have tried system restore which doesn't help me.
My daughters laptop (which shares my PC's Canon USB printer in a home
network) keeps getting a 'spooler subsystem app crash" on start up with
details as below:
I have tried restarting the print spooler which crashes within a few seconds
and reports a fault.

Run System Restore and restore to a date that is earlier than when
this began (I assume it began very recently).

If you don't know what/where System Restore is, search for it in Help
and Support.
