Default get ipv4 address using unc name

Hello

Two vista machines on the same network. If I ping using UNC name I
get the ipv6 address.
Is there a way to ping this machine using the UNC and have the output
ipv4 address??

Thanks in advance!

You may try -4 potion. Please post back with the result.
