Pete please be sure that your cd played will recognize that type of media.
I once went out and spent $100 on a mp3 maker, to find out that my cd player did not support cd-r As far as getting the files back to mps,,,, you cannot convert a disc that has already been made, you will have to put them back on your pc and reburn. Also be certain that you have "closed" the disc, if unclosed, it is worthless to any cd player. You can convert mp3 files to audio files with Audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ But you don’t have to do that to burn Audio (Music) CD’s with WMPlayer. To burn AUDIO cd’s with WMPlayer: 1) Get the mp3 files back onto your computer hard drive and put them preferably in Music Folder where you can easily find them. 2) Use Windows Media Player to burn the mp3 onto a blank CD. (I use TDK CD-R to burn audio CD’s and they work on every CD player I’ve tried them on.) 3) Get your music files or folder onto the WMPlayer Burn List using your favorite method. You can drag the files directly from the Music folder if you want. 4) Be sure to Burn an AUDIO cd. Before you click on WMP Burn tab, open the Burn tab’s menu and be sure that AUDIO CD is selected and not Data. That should do it. -- oscar ....Right click is your best friend... Please explain what you mean when you say, "i have a blank CD-R that does not want to convert into the right format for my cd player" What do you think is the "right format" for your CD player? Are you saying you cannot burn a Music CD or are you saying when you burn a Music CD the file format is or is not .cda? -- John Inzer |
