I've scanned many old pictures and they are assigned the date in which they
were scanned. WPG does a great job of automatically organizing all my new dig pix by date, but it doesn't work so well with old photos which I have scanned. Is there any way I can override the date to say, 2000, so that my pictures can be viewed in date order? Any suggestions on organizing old pix by date? |

Your pics have several dates, but I guess the one you are interested in is
date taken, as this would mean you can manage the old pics like the new ones. You can modify this by changing the date that is displayed in WPG when the info pane is visible. Or, you can do bulk changes to picture information using a utility such as: http://www.rlvision.com/flashren/about.asp -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Fullhouse" wrote in message ... In general, select the photo(s), right click, select 'change date taken'

Well done, Jeff. I'm new to both computing and photography and would never
have guessed. "Jeff Richards" wrote in message ...
