Default Vista = Win95 compatibility

Hello everybody,

I have a small network composed by a Vista Pc, a win98 pc and a win95
pc. The Vista pc shares a network folder to others. The Win98 works
fine; instead the Win95 is mostruosly SLOW...but, if I unplug the
network cable from the network port of the win95, it become quick and
everything is ok (except network connection, obviously)...

what's the problem? Maybe is it concerced to authorization while
accessing shared folder?

thankx

Microsoft doesn't support having Vista share its folders with Windows
95, 98, or Me. That feature wasn't part of Vista's design, coding, or
testing. To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to make it work
reliably.
