Default limited to 999 copies

Hi, I regularly print more than 999 copies of documents at a time using the
drivers supplied by Microsoft (my printer manufacturer uses the microsoft
ones). This makes me have to print the file 6 times in order to get 5000
copies. Does anyone know a way around this? If I type in 1000+ into the #
of Copies box, I just get 1 copy.

The drivers supplied my Microsoft were almost certainly supplied to them by
your printer manufacturer. Have you checked the manufacturers web site to see
if they have a driver listed for your printer under vista?
If they do, download it, uninstall the printer and install it using the
downloaded driver and following the instructions carefully; if the printer is
USB, disconnect the USB cable before you install the printer and do not connect
it until the installer tells you to. There may well be some differences in the
driver options. Otherwise you will have to talk to the printer manufacturer.
