2 boots drives, want one.
I had a 320 Gig Vista as master drive. This drive started to give me grief. I
installed a 1TB drive with one 250G partition and was able to install Vista on it. As it is, I can boot eitehr one by halting Bios and changing the boot drive there (a rather cumbersome means). I want to get files off the older 320G drive, but I can't get past "USERS" folder. Vista 1Tb green progress bar runs across the top in Computer when I try to open USERS on the old drive and keeps glwoing stuck at the red X. Without draging USERS into the Public folder, how do i get past the "You don't have permission" - paranoid security prompt? And, while I'm akt it, how do I disable those "Windows needs your permission" prompts? I fogot how. TA. |
