Default Wireless Signal Strength

I have noticed that on my network a wireless signal strength reported as
"excellent" in Windows XP is reported as "good' in Vista. No settings have
changed on the network except the installation of Vista.

Any reasons for why this occurs would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Arun

I had to buy a newer modem to fix the problem. 2 wire told me the old one
would never work right cause they wont make updates for the older modems to
work 100% with vista.
