un-instal bits left behind and how to deleted that item?
Hi,
Toshiba laptop with MS vista home premium. On the un-instal or change a program site, there is only a line " Norton PartitionMagic 8.0" It cannot be deleted or un-installen as the rest of the program is not there anymore. Any suggestions? Tony

You could try Ccleaner to remove bits left over in your registry and temp files. 'CCleaner - Home' (http://www.ccleaner.com/) If that doesn't get rid of Norton and when you try to delete the file manually you get an error message unlocker may be able to free it up for deletion.
