Default windows photo gallery

when i try to open up windows photo gallery it will open then shuts down
straight away, no idea why, there is no error message or anything in problems
to view anyone know why this is happening. Has been fine before.

Your Photo Gallery database may be corrupted.

Maybe the following article will offer some ideas:

(944221) Windows Live Photo Gallery stops
responding or will not start

For Windows Photo Gallery...just change the path to:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Photo Gallery

After renaming Pictures.pd4 you will have to re-catalog
your pictures. If renaming Pictures.pd4 does not solve the
problem...you can delete the new Pictures.pd4 file and
change the name of the original file back to Pictures.pd4
and the catalog will be restored.
