I'm new to these posts and don't know how to navigate to read responses. Anyway, I have a XP desktop with a Dell 940 all in one printer connected to it. Works fine. Then I have shared my Toshiba Vista Laptop (I have a wireless router). The Laptop recognizes the printer, all drivers installed, print jobs show up but then printer doesn't print. Even trying to connect printer directly to laptop still doesn't let printer print the job. I'm exhausted from trying different things. Can someone tell me in Plain English what to do????? THANKS -- computergeekgirl Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

You may try to install the printer locally and then remap it as network
printer. This search result may help. Vista Print Issues Fix printer sharing in Vista by installing local port first ...
