Default Wrong CPU speed, with Q6600

I dont know it it shuld be like this. But I have Overclocked the CPU and
ram.
This is not the issuse.

My Q is. When I klikk Computer and Properties, the system say that the
CPU is @ 2.4 GHz but in Bios it say 3.39GHz When I use CPU-Z it also say
3.39GHz. Whay, and does it matter?

My guess is that the system reads the processor ID string, which is what it
is originally, but the BIOS and CPU-Z report the actual speed of the
processor.

To further illustrate, some processors with variable speed, such as the
Intel speedstep, will cause the BIOS and CPU-Z to report the altered speed,
but the system will always report the processors rated speed.
