Convert drive from NTFS to FAT32 in Vista
I'm trying to convert an NTFS drive to FAT32, but when I try to format, NTFS
is the only option available. My Drive is 120GB. How can I reformat in FAT32? |

I expect you will actually have to delete and recreate the partition then
format in FAT32. "markusallen" wrote in message ... I'm trying to convert an NTFS drive to FAT32, but when I try to format, NTFS is the only option available. My Drive is 120GB. How can I reformat in FAT32? |

Convert drive from NTFS to FAT32 in Vista
Thank you. I figured out the problem was I couldn't creat partitions greater
than 32GB. Once I changed partition size to less than 32GB, the options for FAT32 appeared in the dropdown. Thanks, "Chris" wrote: format volume [/fs:file-system] [/v:label] [/q] [/a:UnitSize] [/c] [/x] where... /fs:file-system : Specifies the file system to use FAT, FAT32, or NTFS Floppy disks can use only the FAT file system hth.
