Default Blank Desktop, NO TaskManager?

Well me and my friends were lan'n it up,

We lost power to one of the PC's and upon start up the windows logo
above the bar was missing for one,

Second once it got to the desktop all that was visible was a mouse,
ctrl-alt-del did nothing

I tried booting in safe mode, nothing

safe mode with command prompt, nothing

Tried one last time booting from "Last Known Good Config".... and
nothing

We managed to find another comp in the mean time but I would really
like to have this figured.

Thanks

If you have the task bar at the bottom of your screen,
Right click it and select - Show the Desktop.

Hi,

Can you load a command line boot and run rstrui.exe?
