Does anyone have a link or advice on how to sync up for example my Lotus word folder on my xp home to my laptop vista via my wireless network? I've tried a search and it appears as if you need to set offline files then use vistas "sync center". Setting up a 100gb or so for offline files, would that just be used for cache or would that actually take away usable storage space on the home computer? Is that like a backup kind of thing, where you store identical copies of the same folder? I wonder if that is the best way or would you use software like synctoy, or migo etc. ? -- Altereagle ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Altereagle's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/altereagle.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...rk/1017661.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

I've since found out "sync center" doesn't work with Vista home premium. -- Altereagle ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Altereagle's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/altereagle.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...rk/1017661.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

Hi
Search for Vise Versa, and or, Beyond Compare. Two very flexible, and very good Sync programs. Jack (MS, MVP-Networking) "Altereagle" wrote in message ...
