Hi,
I was one of the many vista x64 whose PC bugged (blue screen of the death) whenever the os called a mysterious file named acedrvxx.sys (acedrv08.sys in my case). I didn't find the solution in usenet but a few searches with google finally led me the http://www.protectdisc.com/help/driverupdate_v8.html Yes, the problem is known and there is a patch! I would have thanked the company if they had not hidden the patch so deeply on their website. I already had visited it several times, but never found it. Hopefully I found the magic keywords in Google (ie "protectdisc update"...). I hope it will help some of you... Jemil |
